Co-Owner, Clinical Manager & Therapist

Biography

Christine is the Co-owner & Clinical Manager of Beverly Hills Therapy Group. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan, and holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from Oakland University.  Christine works with children, teens, adults, and couples.

Christine meets each client where they are and uses her training to tailor the therapeutic experience to each client’s personal preference and needs. Christine has extensive experience in and meshes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), existential therapy, and motivational interviewing (MI). She is trained in the Gottman Approach for Couples Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and eye movement therapy (ART).  Additionally, Christine holds a certification in coaching, specializing in divorce, families, and parenting.

Christine believes that every person is capable of the self-understanding that leads to a successful, healthy, and joyful life. To facilitate this understanding, Christine works with individual clients to create a safe, supportive environment where they may explore areas in which they may be “stuck” or struggling. She employs a psycho-dynamic, humanistic model which empowers her clients to identify, celebrate, and utilize their strengths to overcome challenges, so that they may reach their fullest potential in all areas of their lives.

Christine experiences amazing results in developing long-lasting therapeutic relationships which often begin in early adolescence, and extend through adulthood. While a client may take extended breaks from regular therapy and return as needed, they return to an established trusting relationship and use it to better manage the transitions through high school, college, and beyond. Children who are gifted, neuro-divergent, and “quirky” are her people.

Christine’s clinical experience also includes working with families to achieve greater harmony and function in their households. She has a passion for helping children of all ages and their parents to repair and grow from their divorce experience, gaining resilience and adaptability as a result. Christine’s personal experience with the transition to a two-household family led to a specialization in working with divorce issues.

Christine’s passion project is providing coaching to individuals contemplating, actively pursuing, or recovering from divorce.  As a CDC Certified Divorce Coach, Christine becomes a vital ally, sounding board, and strategist in helping clients be the best they can be during one of the most overwhelming times in their lives.
