Nicole began her journey into counseling over 20 years ago. She received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Michigan State University and her Master’s degree in counseling from Oakland University. She has more than 13 years of experience working with college-aged students as an academic advisor in Chicago. She enjoys working with clients of all ages, particularly young adults, couples, and families. Nicole’s specialty is teenagers and young adults experiencing life changes or transitions, or turmoil in their relationships during uncertain and trying times.
Nicole practices a holistic, person-centered therapy in which she helps her clients gain a deeper understanding and awareness of their emotions, so that the clients can work with those emotions rather than trying to suppress them. Her goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment in which clients can express themselves freely without fear of any negative repercussions. She believes that every person is capable of healing and finding happiness, no matter the stage of life, and is dedicated to helping her clients find harmony and balance.
