“Balance is not something you find; it is something you create”-Jana Kingsford.
Are you struggling with managing your emotions? Are you experiencing challenges with balancing things in your life? Are these challenges impacting your relationships with others or your self-esteem? This can feel like a constant battle between your heart and your mind.
No matter what stressors or life changes you’re going through, rest assured that reaching an emotional balance is possible. We will work to create an environment that allows you to explore ideas, beliefs, trauma, and patterns that we all tend to overlook.
Born and raised in the South, I am a graduate in counseling from The University of Alabama and Thomas University. I have worked in the field of counseling for over ten years. I enjoy a person-centered treatment approach that incorporates psychotherapy best practices that has been proven to empower and motivate change.
You and I will work together to identify patterns and triggers to help you form effective copings skills and improve important relationships in your life-specifically the one with self. We will navigate barriers and set goals to develop safety plans, together, so that you can develop a new and healthy sense of self and worth from your own core abilities.
