Biography

Nataki has always enjoyed helping others which assisted in creating a keen sense of empathy for humanity. This desire to help evolved into a pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Disability Studies and Psychology from the University of Windsor and later a Master’s degree in Social Work at Wayne State University.

Nataki’s experience as an Applied Behavioral practitioner has informed her private therapy practice, which draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to help children and their families achieve a balanced and healthy level of function in the household. biopsychosocial assessment, treatment planning, crisis interventions and risk assessments.

Her professional approach to counseling is empowering, reflecting and developing skills such as thinking critically about oneself and the world around them. Nataki’s goal is to provide a safe, supportive and compassionate environment for the client. She emphasizes the importance of individualistic treatment and understands that everyone has a unique way of developing.

Populations include:

Children, adolescents, young adults, individuals with substance use disorder, depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism, schizophrenia/schizoaffective, bipolar disorder and adjusting to life events.
